MCCLUER HIGH SCHOOL: 27
The Stars Swimming and Diving Team pushed their record to 6-1 on the season with a victory over the undermanned McCluer Comets. The Stars were back in the pool 48 hrs after their impressive performance at the Ft Zumwalt Relays on Saturday. The Stars placed 7th at the invite finishing just out of the medals in 3 of the 12 events. The Stars placed 4th in the 100 Free, 250 Fly, and 400 Free relays. The lone medals went to the team of Preston Lintzenich, Sean Kietnzy, Matt Wilke, and Brian Garrett who took second overall in the 100 Medley Relay. Overall the Stars swam great and continue to impress the coaching staff with their early season efforts.
